Sam Jeng Mun is a clinical psychologist, who is currently a member of Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology. She mainly does psychological assessments, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders. Her professional experiences include practicing as a clinical psychologist trainee in Centre for Psychological and Counselling Services in HELP University, psychiatric clinic at Hospital Kajang and Pain Clinic in Hospital Selayang and Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She is also a lecturer in International Medical University.

She has worked with a variety of populations, which included children with special needs, children and adolescent with behavioral and emotional issues, refugee children, university students, working adults, hospital patients as well as chronic pain and cancer patients. During her practice, she sees clients who might have pervasive developmental disorders, learning difficulties, behavioral difficulties, depression, anxiety, and transitional life difficulties. Besides that, she also facilitates psycho-educational workshops for parents, teachers and children in English, Malay and Chinese. She is currently pursuing her PhD in UPM, focusing on mental health literacy, depression and anxiety among primary care self-referrals.


Serene provides a wide range of mental health care services. It encompasses psychological services for all ages. The services include assessments for a variety of mental disorders, counselling, and psychotherapy. In addition, Serene offers a whole range of psychological assessment for most types of mental illness such as depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder and psychotic disorder. Assessment for children such as IQ test, attention deficit and hyperactive disorder assessment, autism assessment, dyslexia assessment and parenting stress are also available in the centre.

Our team is formed by a group of experienced clinical psychologists and consultant psychiatrist (external) who are expert in a variety of mental health related conditions. They have vast clinical experience in child mental health, mental health assessment and diagnosis, treatment of depression and anxiety, psychotherapy, and so on.
